will it be leagalized. i mean if hiking can be proven to be a cheap way to cure some illness, wont insurance cover it happily? cause i qualify! and so do all my friends. well. most. what do you think of a doctor who writes scripts for medicinal thruhike? im for it.

hey? it relaxes me and stops pain. what arent i getting here? seems like a no brainer. i need thruhike. it aint just for fun. it controls my sugar and weight and circulation and heals my body in ways i would die without. so why cant i walk into a clinic and get a script for one and take it to the outfitter and have them prossess it thru the insurance right their and issue me gear and food and a ride on the spot like any other medicaly dependent dependent? huh?!

this is the issue. we need to have a movement. from right here on whiteblaze.net. this is the answer. folks would take their medicine instead of abuseing it and getting sicker. we will redefine "medicine". it will come to pass one day, that an insurance company demanding they put you on a vacation or cancell your policy will be commonplace. medical costs cause the need for the insurer to be the caregiver and cut out the middle man , the hospitols doctors, before they cut out your middle at an allarming cost. they send you on a thruhike, you get in shape, doctars are layed off. costs drop. insurers get rich,...bla bla bla end of story. i get to catch miss janet . i need a medical hug.
