is it possible at his age and in his condition? hes 89 and frail.
I want to get one of his:
"Judgement Day May 21, 2011" signs to put on the wall in my garage.
I think it would be really cool to have one of those.
I bet I could buy one on clearance somewhere, you know, considering this is May 22, 2011. Where would I get one of those?

i am offering to keep mr camping in hiding if he so wishes in an environ of his choice. i will change his diaper and tend to his wife either in a tent on the at or a shack by the tracks. all i require is money to thruhike alot. but ill take care of you smelly old man camping. otherwise all you got is a sadam hole or a binladen blanket. you have to 6 pm tommorow to contact me with your terms.

this morning in the not related to anything thred news, i spoke with minnesota smith .well, texted. thats speaking these days. i woke up realizing how lucky he is to have his wife barb. shes about as cool as my mom was who was the coolest lady i knew.the kind of woman who will prolly dig up flowers with her teens and make them wine and squeel haveing to do gardening with mom, but grow up proud they did.
hes hooking me up with one of her brides maids now. what you got?
so harold camping recamped. says he made a slight mathamatical error. im thinking his best bet is to pay for me to thruhike. otherwise ill have to badmouth him eventualy. come on old man. get up, read this, and somehow deceide to thruhike with me. ill strap your stalkass to my pack and carry you if you like. hell, i could pack you and your wife if shes as thin as you. please?

its funney how well i belive i know the bible. ive impressed scollars and chaplins alike. but im not so sure i know my gods meanings so well im willing to elaborate beyond common bible knowlage into some arena of special understandings such as the atomic time of rapture. mr camping takes the line about knowing perfectly that a thousand years is as a day with my lord to mean one of my gods days is one thousand of our years. its a tennin of his shmeeil. i belive my god uses such words to mean that he has a different time, but not measurable to ours. and if im okay with the mysterys of my god, i belive thats what he requires. to preassume the meanings of every mystery of the bible, is to assume one is finnished with learning about the basic tennins. im not. and never will be.

Another irony of a sort. The minister at my church used almost the exact same line as mine above (not arguing with Jesus when He said "no one knows the time," etc.) during his sermon last Sunday. Some things are not good for us to know. We should all live as if today is the last day of our life.

when my god says only god knows, it may mean only god, and his children.
but also it must be noted that this still does not address when , just the how . how you may be suprised , or not, is what the bible teaches. some will not be suprised, but still , those will not have known the date either.

last night on open fourum, a caller asked if harold felt bad that the caller had sold his everything and given it to family radio. he was crying and serious. he didnt ask for his money back, he just wanted an apologie or some comfort from the man he felt ruined him. camping did something so unchristian , as allways, he told the guy with a chuckle, its your fault for listening to me. harolds voice has become quite different as has his demeaner. its like listening to a child lie to his parents. his doctrin is still wrong and although alot of his teachings are wonderful, and i have benefitted more from him than any preacher, hes a bad man and a devil worshipper and god knows well this. he aint goin no place.

Actually, in Matt. 24, Jesus says that, in essence, life will be going on just as it always has (for those who are not watching). Those are the ones who will be taken by surprise at his coming.
In this section of scripture it has been taught by pre-tribulation rapturists that, when Jesus says "one will be taken and the other one left" that the one who is taken is raptured. For those who believe in "heaven on earth" as I do, the one who is taken is taken away in judgement, and the one who is left is left to live in the Kingdom of God and His Christ.
So we see how many scriptures are understood in different ways by equally honest searchers.
Much of the Bible is subject to private interpretation, in my opinion largely because of the many different translations and versions of translations.
In 2 Peter 1:20 Peter tells us that "no prophesy of the scripture is of any private interpretation". I wonder if he had any clue as to what the future would bring.:-?

Obviously, "Brother" Camping is a sick, sick puppy. He should have gotten in an RV years ago and turned the station over to selfless and sound minded people.
David Wilkerson made the same mistake with this prophecy and then a couple of years ago said it was indeed imminent:

When will all this come about, you ask? All I can say is, I believe I will be here when it happens! And when it happens, no matter where we are - in our apartment or on the job - we are not to panic or fear!

All That Jeremiah Prophesied Was This:

Jeremiah survived the horrors he warned were coming! "And he was there when Jerusalem was taken" (Jeremiah 38:28). He must have watched in silent horror from behind a prison wall as the Chaldean army poured into the city. for twenty-three years he had warned, but no one would listen - and now the blood was flowing!"
The king's house was in flames. All the leaders were dragged out of hiding. The sights and sounds were unbearable; how Jeremiah must have cried out for mercy! "Oh God, I saw it all - I prophesied it! But Lord, can't you spare?"
Yet, here is the good news:
Jeremiah was present to see the city broken up - but he was safe! And not only was he safe, but so was Ebed-Melech, the man who pulled him out of the deadly mud pit! When everything was coming down, Jeremiah sent a message to Ebed-Melech, who was hiding in fear: "[Thus] saith the Lord: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey [prize] unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the Lord" (Jeremiah 39:17-18).
Can you imagine Ebed-Melech's comfort as he heard this word? Yet we have the same message that was given to Ebed-Melech: Those who love God's Word and walk in faithfulness and obedience will be miraculously spared by the Lord in hard times! "I will deliver you! Don't be afraid - your life will be spared because you trust in Me!"
Right now, God is shaking California with earthquakes, from San Fransico to Los Angeles to San Diego. The entire nation is feeling the birth pangs of judgment!
But when you see these things, and you hear that New York City is in flames, you can fall on your knees and begin to rejoice - not because of the judgment, but because of God's promise: "Lord, I wanted to hear what You had to say - and You warned me! I have obeyed Your Word - and now I need not be afraid!" Hallelujah
