The permanent makeup question got me to wondering about how i can look my best in town. Although I usually buzz my hair short for any extended trips, I look better with longer hair, so I ws wondering about the feasibility of bringing a toupee for town. Any suggestions?

10-k, you have to supply those platform shoes with the glass heels for the goldfish so i can look my best, along with my roadkill toupee.

Could just scrape your toupee off a rock everytime you get close to town like this guy!! W-W

Nah, a couple bunches of "Mountain Laurel's" on the not so full side will even things out! Plus hide your hiker smells!! :)

I'd stay away from wool, itches. Cotton kills, so thats out.

Hmmmm... could keep sunburned sunroofs down to a minimum out there. If long, could swish the bugs away from eyes and ears. Hmmmm.
What about treating it with Permethrin and a DWR too?
Get a thick one and it'd keep yer brain cells warm in the winter, too!
