Fresh here,
I hiked in 2010 and it changed my life, this year myself along with my rescue squad will be putting on a Hiker Feed at Sunrise Mountain in Stokes State Forest NJ. This will be an all inclusive event, for 10$ you get an all you can eat spaghetti dinner, with salad, bread, and dessert. (there will be a vegetarian and a meat sauce) overnight camping at Sunrise Mountain Pavilion, which normally isn't allowed, breakfast the following morning, and a few other goodies. We will have several EMTs on site to provide minor medical services as well as our wilderness EVAC gear and off-road vehicle. Rides into town for resupplies and other services will also be available. Please come out and support my Volunteer Rescue Squad, this squad changed my life after the AT and they have been providing wilderness evacs of hikers in NJ free of charge, since 1956. This is my way of giving back to them and the AT in one swoop. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH ANY 2011 HIKERS!!! I was at trail days and handed out as many fliers as humanly possible.
