Has there been much rain there this summer? I'm headed up there in a few days and I'm wondering about the water situation.
I suppose you never know but, I don't think I've ever heard of water problems in Maine, unless it was too wet.

Been mostly dry throughout the state the past few weeks, occasional thunder shower but no real long periods of heavy rain....
We had a rainy May and the first half of June. Since then things have been pretty normal. I doubt if you will find a water problem for the next month at least. The springs are flowing everywhere I've looked, though I haven't spent much time in the mountains. That changes
Friday when I'm off for a five day, family trip to Baxter Park. Twenty four of us, spouses, children, siblings, neices and nephews, grandkids, significant others ... will converge on the park. It may never be the same again.
