I am looking for shuttle/ride service from Fontana Visitors Center to Old 64/Wallace Gap on Sept. 2 for wife and me. I have the list from the ATC, but so many to choose from. Any thoughts?

Call Jeff at The Hike Inn (828.479.3677). He picked up my daughter and me at the Asheville airport and shuttled us to Winding Stair Gap, and then picked us up at Fontana Dam 6 days later to shuttle us back to the airport. Timely, informative, and efficient. His motel is just outside Fontana Dam.

I just visited The Hike Inn. They were great and helped us out. Another option is Bill Johnson (phone: 828.507.5747) has shuttled us many times in that area. He is completely dependable. Truly first class person.
