What are some of the best Trail Names you've heard from the class of 09? Let's hear some!
For those who started in early march Armageddon should bring about some interesting memories

I don't think this one is from 2009... but maybe 2008, I always liked- NY Minute.
Some of those I remember most form 09 was Hodge Podge, Single Speed, Slag Line, Doc, Hutch, Crank, Jerimiah Johnson, and Wendy. I hiked with these folks more than others.
Made it to the 501 shelter and spoke to an 18 yr old kid there who said his trailname was "Drop Off". I asked him how he got that name and he said.....
"Well, I was living at home and hadn't been treating my parents too good when all of a sudden they said "Let's go on a road trip". About 300 miles later I started thinking "Military School". Then my Dad pulled the car over at a trail head, opened up the trunk and threw out a loaded backpack, hiking poles, and boots and told me- "When you get your head screwed on right you can come back home". Then they drove off."
I looked at him, smiled, and said "Man that's a great trailname". Never will forget that story.
^ That is a really remarkable story!! :)
And D.O.C. aka Dude On Couch, kind of an acidental almost thru-hiker and a really nice kid.
Red Legs, cuz he was an artilleryman.
Early Bear had a run-in with a bear early in his hike.
Storm, abbreviated from ***** Storm, cuz for a while she made a lot of privy visits.
Poppins, abbreviated from Mary Poppins, cuz he seemed to have one of everything in his pack.
