That's one of my favorite places in Maine, regardless of season. When I was about your age we hiked there in late February, and had a rousing hockey game on the pond. Among those along was the future Gov. King, then a struggling Brunswick lawyer. It was the first and last winter hike he ever went on, I believe. Very beautiful section. There can be some great fishing at Sabbathday pond too. Nice pics. |
