Snort! Nothing to say in polite company. I thought our snow was done, but we have been getting it here since last night. Not much down, though. Sticking closer to 32 +/-, but the lake effect machine isn't done for the year, yet.
I am in a boring all day design meeting and keep diving out WB for some sanity. :D

That licorice is killer! Is it a real store or internet store? We get t from a small store in Connecticut. I havent tried to find them on the internet, dont think that I could get close enough to the correct spelling of of all those Dutch words, even with google's help.

just got back home from the cabin (a little north of Woody Gap) The wind and cold was brutal up there today 35 degrees and 25mph wind

ATM texted me about 3 p.m. said phone reception not good there. He said that he was tired but ok. They thought that they might get to be in the shelter but there was a crowd. The temps tonight is to be very cold, even colder than last night. I think everything when good for the first day.

Find a place where you can slack them. Can pretty much be done in in CT, MA, & VT. Hike with them a little in the am Then return to your car drive around & meet them. If you have two vehicles hike with them. They may be somewhat faster without packs but not as bad as with a pack.

Mt Rodgers area down south would be an Ideal spot for slacking them too In a relatively gentle & beautiful are to hike.

I am looking forward to it. Could not justify doing a a thru-hike with 4 children still at home (as of next Thursday 4 teenagers :eek:). So going try to finish it out in 4-5 week hikes the next 4 years (counting this year).

As a said the other day....i was inspired the other day, and I have figured out how to do it! Also, it is away to keep HB sort of in the cafe' every day. He started this High-koo thing, and w/access, I will try to post a morning koo while our intrepid travelers are on their walk.:)
