Wasn't Dirty Laundry originally released on a Don Henley solo album. His first I think.

Yes, I believe that is right. Only Joe Walsh really had a singles career (with the James Gang) prior to joining the Eagles. And Poco was like the Eagles AAA team for bass players.

is salt spray as effective as pepper spray against a surprise attack on the trail?
and does it work on ticks, or do i still have to throw bullets at them

man - not to bring up anything serious in the cafe but TICKS are the most dangerous thing on the trial - - period - - worse than crazy people with weapons, poisonous snakes, bears, hypothermia, heat challenge, whatever - TICKS - they are THE single outside agency that gets people off the trail (besides maybe Mother in Laws).

I fly back tomorrow morning. One of our guys is the employee of the year for the whole company plus I'm going to be a GM in the next couple of years. The snow can wait.

Congrats Rasty!

thats why we practice our bullet throwing out back. the woods behind this place are loaded with em.bears i can handle with a good shot of salt spray.

I just don't want to get in a spot where I feel like I'm holding up the whole line.

Not too many places down south it would happen.

Yup!
That's why I need to pick him up before he gets that far. He could derail the whole 2013 hiking season.

Depends on which side you go up! Heading north is a b*tch! There is a bad weather route that loops below the summit and actually goes to a parking area.

The Thru-Hike Registry is really moving lately. The last six have been 20 -30 somethings. I'm gonna get walked all over.

Don't worry about it. You are going to have a great time, and even if does taken you a little longer, that just means you get to enjoy it more! :sun

I wouldn't worry about it MM. Lots drop off before NC.

That is another good point, since you have waited longer for it, it probably means more to you. Therefore increases your level of commiment and pleasure.
