I haven't been to the cafe in a while. My psychiatrist said I needed to lay off, said that's why I started seeing things and hearing voices. But the voices are telling me it's okay now.

(LOL) I'm doing this, watching videos on youtube and Lizard Lick Towing on the big TV. I told you the voices said it was okay.
you guys are putting up some impressive post counts.that there is some hard core cyber hiking.
This makes post 234 for me and I'm pretty sure without the cafe I wouldn't have got to 100 yet..
Homeless people should be banned from the trail. They are professionals in an amature sport. Everyone should be required to show proof of a residence at any time while hiking. They are so different from us. They go days without bathing. They eat whatever they can find. They gladly accept handouts. They try to live as cheap as possible. They smell bad. They sometimes hitchhike. It's just awful. I can't abide these types.
I'm so glad I didn't have a mouthful of milk when I read this. Thanks for the laugh! :)

He is also a tireless prankster.
I OWE him a skunk spray, believe me.

5 Weeks until I leave for vacation. I'm actually going hiking. Going to drive to Partnership shelter and get a shuttle to Roan High Knob then hike back to the car. It's about a 160 miles section. I'm planning to stay at Kincora Hostel and The Place In Damascus which will be a new experience for me. I've always just camped the entire time and never stayed at a Hostel before. I have to order my new ULA Circuit this week with a few modifications (Pockets and Stretchy Mesh from the OHM). I have 10# of religious literature to hand out to unsuspecting Irishmen! Hopefully get to meet some cool people while on the trail and in Damascus.

He was in pain....his ankle and Pepe ran off with the cat at the Motel. We had to go back and get him. It was too bad we 2 old men were injured, and it was raining. No sweat, we reconned they area for future trips up there, had a few Maine Lobster rolls, some local beer.....it was all good!

I accidently deleted all my photos our last night out.hit the wrong button and they were gone. tomorrow I'll see if I can still retrieve any from the sd card. I couldn't believe it. I had pictures of loons water pools sunsets thru hikers that I had met and several pictures of bigfoot clear as day. I was fooling around with the settings on the camera.sepia tone shelter shot,a cool b/w pic of my boots and sticks,went to delete one image,and with one stroke they were all gone.i blame pepe.i was distracted,to put it mildly.
He was in pain....his ankle and Pepe ran off with the cat at the Motel. We had to go back and get him. It was too bad we 2 old men were injured, and it was raining. No sweat, we reconned they area for future trips up there, had a few Maine Lobster rolls, some local beer.....it was all good!

I accidently deleted all my photos our last night out.hit the wrong button and they were gone. tomorrow I'll see if I can still retrieve any from the sd card. I couldn't believe it. I had pictures of loons water pools sunsets thru hikers that I had met and several pictures of bigfoot clear as day. I was fooling around with the settings on the camera.sepia tone shelter shot,a cool b/w pic of my boots and sticks,went to delete one image,and with one stroke they were all gone.i blame pepe.i was distracted,to put it mildly.

i just saw an in and out burger truck hauling off the polar bear....he didnt look happy till they told him they were taking him to a burger joint ,he just smiled and out on his bib ,i dont think he gets it.

You'll have to ask rocketsocks... I have been on cleaning duty inside the cafe. Someone keeps leaving cookie crumbs around, and I am a bit worried they will attract shelter mice for WOO.
