NC hike
I want to hike from GA/NC state line to NC Highway 1310 at Wayah Gap, NC (North bound)
or
NC Highway 1310 at Wayah Gap, NC to GA/NC state line (South bound)

I suppose the best place to start is Blue Ridge Gap, GA.
Blue Ridge Gap to NC Highway 1310 near Wayah Gap is around 40 miles.

Where do I park my car near my destination ???
Who provides shuttles in this area ???

Maybe I will complete the GA AT this coming weekend.

Don't know about the shuttles, I would check out the ATC website. They keep a list of people.

Personally, I would park my car in Hiawassee and get a ride up to Dick's Creek Gap and start my hike there.

You can park your car at Dick's Creek for three dollars a day(if I remember correctly) The state line is a few miles North of Dick's Creek.

You can leave a car at Blue Ridge Gap. However, the "parking lot" is mearly a pullout at the top of a rather deserted and rutted dirt road. Personally, I would leave a car at Dicks Creek Gap as others have suggested and put in a few extra miles. Heading southbound, it's mostly downhill. Heading northbound, well, you know the drill ...

Enjoy your hike. There's no better time to be in north Georgia!

When I set up my section hikes I try to set them up to fit in with the available trailheads more than the particular geograhic features because getting transportation to particular geograhic spots can be really difficult.

Where are you at in GA now? Trying to end a section hike at the GA/NC border is problematic because of road access. Since you are continuing on into NC, you might want to look at using the first trailheads on either side of the border, Dicks Creek Gap in GA or Deep Gap in NC. Deep Gap in NC was closed the last I heard because of blowdowns from last years storms and people were using Standing Indian Campground and the 3 some odd mile Kimsey Creek Trail. So Dicks Creek Gap might be more attractive, depending on what you can work out.
