This southbound section that I was supposed to lead was done without me. My wife was ill and I hooked up with the group at JoMary Road so this trip was broken into two parts. So the actual trip report was based on notes taken by the participants and passed on to me. So it is not as detailed as usual. However, the planning notes and pre-trip info is still there as if I was on the trip. I think a very valuable Hundred Mile Wilderness planning dissertation is offered in the Day 2 report. Tentatively, I plan to go back and do ME AT I & II as a trip along with some Baxter Park hiking several years down the road.
