If SoBo hikers left Caratunk last Sat. (July 2) about where will they be August 1? Trying to coordinate a visit, now that David has decided to keep going and possibly thru-hike.
I guess Hanover, but one would have to know your sons mpday/week avg. I recommend joining the ATC, I believe that comes with a free trail map, and purchase a Data Book and maybe the AT Companion. Then you can follow along his adventure on the map, calculate his average miles and destinations in the data book and read about those destinations/towns in the Companion. It can be helpful and fun!

Id say Glencliff is more probable unless they were going pretty fast.
