  2. Why Flip Flop?

    For many years I have dreamed of doing a thru-hike of the Appalachian trail in the traditional sense, from south to north. I imagined the crowds in Georgia and the iconic finish atop Katahdin in Maine.   3. Less Than A Month

    I'm hoping to begin my Harpers Ferry to Maine, Harpers Ferry to Georgia thru-hike around the 8th of June and I couldn't be more excited.   4. Warming Up

    I just returned from a wonderful week with friends on California's Lost Coast Trail. It was my spring break and also a fantastic way to warm-up for my upcoming thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I couldn't have asked for a better trip to get me psyched and confident for the AT.
