I was just remembering how in 2008 about mid February at Walasi-Yi Neels gap,GA

As usual during that time of the year. The hostel was packed full of hikers and being it was the hostel owners birthday that day. Hikers were drinking and celebrating. Well, about 2am in the bunk room I was awaking buy a female screaming - "He's pissing all over me, somebody help" . I turn on my headlamp, as well as the other 20 some hikers staying the night. I'm posting in my journal until my son, Loner aka Jeff aka SnakeSession can do so. During his stop over in Gatlinburg he was able to download four videos of his AT thru-hike. Here's the link the first video of his trip. He plans on adding videos every 200 miles or so.

If you are starting your hike in Georgia, you may ship your pack to Mountain Crossings at Neels Gap.
They will keep your stuff safe until you arrive. Then you only need a carry on with you when you fly into Atlanta.
We plan to help everyone do just that this summer.
