19 September 2010, Grafton Notch, On the drive into Success Pond Road this morning we had a cow moose in the road and it ran the road in front of us for about ¼ mile before it jumped off into the woods. I have not been looking forward to Mahoosuc Notch. I have done the Notch two times in the past and it is just time consuming and strenuous. 17 September 2010, Carlo Col Shelter Sometime after 9 pm last night four hikers came to the shelter. I did not know who they were at the time because it was dark. They tried to be quite but we all know that is almost impossible in the dark. The two hikers that came in around 8:30 last night were Patch and Bluegrass.
