My buddies and i were looking to hike the southern part of the appalachian trail in the first week of march Starting in Georgia. i have heard this can be a good thing and that this can be a bad thing. i was wondering if anyone who has hiked at this time of year on the App. trail can give me some knowledge on the conditions and the temperature at day and night. and Any warmer climate parts of the trail, and if we should prepare for snow or not in the higher altitude.
