Day 13 on the AT mile 109. AT&T connectivity has been very poor in the mountains, I will get these out as I can.

This time it's actually happening. I will leave in
27 days for Georgia. I consider this trip a rite of passage for me. I will be 50 May 4th. I have spent the last 50 years taking care of others. I will begin taking care of myself.

I have watch every possible video on the AT I can get my hands on. Even then, I know there is going to be new adventure that I haven't even thought of.

As I get ready I will post more videos and post pictures.

Decided we would do a little urban hiking and visit the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin in Washington DC. 24 March 2016 was predicted to be the peak and it looks like the guessers came pretty close.
