    I completed a day hike up to McAfee's Knob on 7/13/11. Met "Pittsburgh" on his way south to Damascus and decended McAfee to VA 311 with him. This is a shout out to Pburgh: thanks for the company and all of the AT tips as I plan for my thru-hike. Hope to see you again on the AT. Best wishes. Dave (no trail name yet).
