I am from Georgia and wish to end in my own state. With that being said, I plan to start this stroll thru the woods around July 10th.....Is anyone starting around this time??

I've delayed strapping my sleeping bag to my pack or stuffing it into it, mostly because I suspected the results would be disappointing. And, after going through the exercise I can confirm that the two are not going to coexist peacefully.
