Located in Ashland, Oregon, off I-5 at Exit 6, just below Mount Ashland and the PCT. The owners of Callahan's have enjoyed hosting PCT hikers for more than 7 years! They are open everyday from 7am to 9pm or later. All you can eat spaghetti dinners for $10, "first beer free", guest rooms, and camping on the lawn available.

The restaurant is currently closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but their days of operation may be different during the summer. When you reach Highway 66 follow it east and walk the highway for about 1.75 miles to reach Green Springs Inn.

Make sure the package is critter proof (mouse/chipmunk) so try to box in a hard plastic tote."

Lloyd has discovered if you hike up to the Dee Wright Memorial Stone Observatory (McKenzie Pass, HWY 242) you can get cell coverage on the roof if you are on the eastern most point standing on the concrete platform, facing east. Give him a call, he will respond to you needs, even if the McKenzie Pass is NOT officially open, he has an emergency access through the snow-gate and can meet you on the summit.
Lloyd will transport to Bend for shopping, overnight accommodations, to connect with ground transportation. He will transport from Elk Lake, MacKenzie Pass (HWY 242) Santiam Pass (HWY 20), Sisters and vicinity.
