Hello!
My name is Dan Tino and I'm a casting director for a company in Los Angeles called Metal Flowers Media. Currently we are casting for a survivalist competition show that will be featured on a major cable network. I am reaching out to your program because we need extremely competitive, young, athletes between the ages of 18 and 25 to compete on the show who might have a competitive edge surviving in the in the wild. Everyone involved gets a stipend per week for their participation (the show will most likely tape for around 5 to 6 weeks starting in the spring) and the winners get a huge cash prize. We are also looking for "Sage" characters to help the teams survive and hunt in the wild -- those people must be specialists in their field and between the ages of 30 and 50. They will also get a weekly stipend. The amount of the stipend is undetermined at the moment but it's purpose is to act as a salary for those involved so it will be sufficient.
We are looking for 8-10 teams of two to compete in essentially a tremendously elaborate and unthinkable game of “hide and seek” where the groups will be both the hunters and the hunted. Teams of two will live outdoors, in the wild, scavenging for food, shelter, and protection from challenging forces that lie up every tree, in every stream, behind ever boulder (It is essentially a real life version of a very popular movie that was based on a book..... hint hint.) Teams must have an existing relationship, a compelling back-story, and an engaging reason to win the huge cash prize.
If you know of people in your program who are extremely athletic, have experience in the wilderness and/or the outdoors, have a friend/colleague/sibling/partner/etc to compete with, and who would be interested in being on this show please feel free to forward this to them. They can respond to me directly to my email below with their name, age, contact info, a brief bio, a bit about the teammate they want to use and his/her information, their survival skills, outdoor skills, overall athletic skill, and a recent photo. Either myself or my associate will contact those who qualify shortly.
