Second time I've done this section. I have to say it never gets old. The second time actually got better. Got to see Blood Mountain on a clear day. Went through the "cave" on the right side of the Blood Mountain shelter a few times and climbed up from the other side of the cave up to the top of the rocks. It was a great experience. And the people? The people were great. I went on this trip to get away from people. Who woulda thunk I would meet some of the coolest people I've met in my life? I'm excited to hit up the trail again next month from Neel to Fontana Dam with my buddy. Thank you to the AT for giving me the greatest times of my life.

Update: I could do this section a million times and never get tired of it.
