I'm new to this site but I'm planning to start in Maine in 2017. I'm a marathoner and a triathlete and a Type 1. Looking at the Data Book it looks like getting resupplied with the two insulin's that I use, Novalog and Lantus will not be a problem because the insulin keeps for 30 days. I'm not sure about using a pump on the trail. I used one years ago. My doctors wants me on one this year but my concern with thru hiking is the site getting pulled or in the way. I will try and use the pump here (I also live in Florida) when I pack for weekend trips and see how it goes. I use a football stadium steps for a hill work out. Maybe you are close to a college with bleachers to help simulate hills?
