Decided to pull an "all-nighter" and drive down to Trail Days (and back). Got on the road by 2AM and made it the 363 miles by 8:30AM or so and got breakfast at the fire house. The event was very cool. Between the people, the vendors, and the cool town, I had an awesome time. I'd have stayed longer but had commitments... I was amazed at the number of people that had converged there by the afternoon parade and was even more amazed to run into people I knew, and several more I knew of from blogs and such. Had great (awesome) BBQ for lunch at the Veterans Memorial. Ended up walking 8.5 miles just around town all day, and did manage to cover the tiny section of the trail through town.
