Cook Stoves

After much research, debate and deliberation, we decided to go with the Jetboil Zip for heating water and cooking some meals. Being our first trip, we don't want to complicate things by having to cook elaborate meals on the trail so we're going for the pre-packaged, dehydrated stuff...
A few months ago, F4ever told our oldest son Aaron, that he wanted this stove for his birthday. We never heard anything and no stove was forthcoming, so we just figured he forgot. Last week we made a trip to a local outfitter and looked at the stove again. We decided to get it and couldn't wait to get home and try it out. On the way home we stopped for dinner and a few drinks (I had 3 Rum Punches and F4ever had 4 bottles of beer). When we got home we lit up the stove and boiled some water in it. Yeah, we like it. It's light and fast. So I went online and found a pretty good price, better than we paid for the first one, and ordered one for myself as well. While we were doing all of this, I had 2 glasses of wine...
Now here's the funny part: The next morning I got up and went to work and was thinking about the stove. I got online and found a really good price on Ebay, even better than the second price and ordered ANOTHER one, completely forgetting that I had ordered one the night before (must have been the wine)!
Now here's the really funny part: Aaron called F4ever later that same day and asked if he got his stove yet, it should be coming USPS!!!
Well, long story short, I was able to cancel my order for the 3rd stove and when the 4th stove comes we'll return it to the store.
Moral of the story? Don't go online after 3 Rum Punches and 2 glasses of wine!
