Spring is here, and i decided yesterday was a great day to get my family's tent out to see what repairs need to be done to it. Well, unfortunately my fairly new dog must be fairly new to tents. She decided to make an exit out of the middle of one of the walls. Needless to say, there is a huge hole that is unrepairable. Lucky for me, now i dont have to persuade my wife to buy a new one.
I'm looking for a lightly used/brand new tent that is spacious and weight is not a concern. (Car camping) I've looked through all Craigslist postings around my area and am having no luck. So i thought i'd give this a shot. Anyone have one they are trying to get rid of, or know of a GREAT DEAL or website i can go to?
My main concern is water resistant and roomy. Other than that im not to picky.

I'm trying to reduce packweight (who isn't?) and me eye has fallen on my fiberglass tent poles. The tent I use has 2 of them and together they weigh in at 13 oz. I think that could be improved.

So I'm looking for lightweight tent poles if anyone has a spare or 2 they can part with. They will need to be around 126 inches long. Shorter would probably work (I would splice in some other sections) and I could probably cut down longer poles.

Alternately, if anyone has information on where I could purchase some new, that would be my second choice.
