Duncannon to Swatara Gap Section Hike April 13-15

Hey fellow section hikers! I am hiking the section in PA from Duncannon to Swatara Gap this weekend. Anyone and everyone who wants to come along is welcome.

It's about 36 miles total, and here is my preliminary plan:

Friday (starting late afternoon): Duncannon to Clark's Ferry Shelter (5 miles)
Saturday: Clark's Ferry Shelter to Rausch Gap Shelter (25 miles)
Sunday: Rausch Gap Shelter to Swatara Gap (6 miles)

The 25 miles on Saturday might be a stretch, but I've done more than that on a number of occasions.

a big chunk of your 5 day 1 miles is walking the streets of duncannon. i'd keep going to peter's mountain (skip the roads in duncannon if need be) and make your day 2 more manageable.

or there are places to camp between peter's mountain and rausch that arent touted in very many places, but they are there.
