Only thing I see wrong is that dreamcatcher thing. Whoever gets the part with no dream catching strings gets short changed. Oh, wait a minute: This is for one serving, right? So the solution is to make one for everyone. I get it, my bad.
Bump....just thought this year's thru hikers might benefit from the recipie.
I assume they compress down to the size of a half dollar
Excellent .
That my friends is one expensive burger, sandwich thing. I bet that costs like $40 bucks to make. I'll let you know how much it costs, I'm going to the store, I got to try this!
shucks they forgot the spam......
Man...that's just wrong!
although if it was chicken and not hamburg...I'd be game!
OK, seat belts on fellow backpackers.
check out www.epicmealtime.com These guys are insane, watch the videos.............if they were trail angels life on the AT would change - and more people would be taking numerous zero's in a row!
I actually ran across this thread Tuesday, and thought WOW! That is Nuts! So a friend and I made it just for kicks. That was some awesome eating, I added up our calorie content, came out to be a whopping grand total of 16,230 calories. (kept it off 20k by changing the size of burger patties lol)
But, it was Very Good, and we plan to make it again soon with some better variations such as adding some feta cheese into the meat, different spices, etc etc.
Thought I'd bump this thread again, as this is surely one of the best instructional threads that I've ever read.
This thread makes the sandwich in the link seem all the more reasonable...
The link-- http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandst...=1&view=mobile
Throw that thing the dehydrator!
Well it's the time of year when we have a lot of aspiring thru hikers look for advice. I though I'd bump up my favorite WB thread for them to read.
