Any one know of any tarps similar to the spinnshelter, in terms of its shape and size? I would really be interested in buying a spinnshelter, but they are hard to come by anymore. I'm not interested...

B - I've done that section, awesome mountains. Just try to get to mcafees knob early ahead of the crowds, especially on weekends.

I am also looking to switch away from a tent. Right now I'm looking at getting a SMD Wild Oasis to be the middle between a normal tent and a normal tarp, which should make the transition a little bit...
