That strip looks like what I used on mine, found it my junk box. Worked good last winter.
For my humming bird feeders, I made one from a small aluminum can punching a hole in the bottom using a wire and JB weld. Kept the ants away.
A friend of mine has a Dueter 65+10, he had to leave the trail I carried his for two miles was a lot heavier than my ULA Circuit, his was more comfortable & felt lighter.
That's the way I do mine, works great.
