For what is worth, I do find myself that it is a lot easier to get comfortable on a self inflating mat than on an air mat including the down filled type ( so not about insulation but feel...) . That...
What Tyvek ?
There are 2 major lines, hard (types starting with 10) and soft (types starting with 14) and each has several variants.
Some details on some of the 10 types...

I have been suggesting that for over 20 years but most often it gets ignored. In fact I even posted a couple of videos demonstrating that. I now do car camping and use a 30 kg (66 lbs!!!) canvas tent...
Did you use a calculator to add up the individual weight ?
With the Traptent Scarp you can take the inner off the fly from the inside as the tent is standing. So pack the inner , wipe the fly inner down (if needed) and then go out and pack the fly up.
Takes...
Once it's dry ...it's dry. The trick is to first clean the area where you want to apply the seam sealer with mineral spirit or white gas. Let it dry, then either brush the Seam Grip in the stitch...
"a 1P trekking-pole tent that has peeling seam seam tape in difficult corners."
You could ignore the peeling tape and seam seal it from the outside.
I would imagine that if the inside is PU coated...
One of the reasons why they like the Scarps in the UK is that they have an integral pitch, the fly and inner go up together (if you don't for some reason separate them on purpose...) . That can be...
I already have.. by using a little knife without a corkscrew.
"Just think a bottle of wine walk out of town up to a overlook and a full moon oh yeah"
I think that there are now plenty of good wines inside screw top bottles..
besides, do you go back to town to...
BTW, tape or thinned silicone, do wipe the fabric first with mineral spirit or ith a cloth with some soap on it and then wipe off with just a damp cloth and let dry.
Some people think that PU coated maerial should be stored loosely so that the fabric can breathe (outgassing). The idea is that that if the gas is trapped it will cause the damage. This is from...

If the groundsheet is a bit larger than the floor and or somehow gets water over itself , you could then , with your weight, cause some moisture to come through the floor. So the trick here is to...

OK, if you have used detergent (standard laundry washing powder) that does cause the down to clump up, so yes it does take several rinses to get rid of it and then you start again with soap.
Do you wash your bed sheets without soap/detergent?
How often do you wash them ?
I have never seen any cottage manufacturer or business doing that but individuals do.
It isn't all that difficult to wash your bag, just use pure soap* (not detergent) and a bathtub. Warm not hot...
BTW, when I replied the tread was towards the top so I did not realise it was 4 months old. Still for what I know the OP could still be alive.
As for mating the inner with the fly again, I found that the easiest way is to do it under the fly once the fly is in place.
The trick with any tent fabric is to have as much as you can flat and eliminate all possible wrinkles before folding/rolling. To use an extreme example, think of the volume taken by a brand new...
Military surplus
6.5 lbs....
I don't see a Tarptent that has the specs Cabbagehead wants but as I already commented I cannot think of one shelter that does .
There is a design that would do it if light weight material were used...
