Hi all! After 2 years of waiting, I will finally be on my way to Springer Mt. in mid March! I've section hiked most of the mid Atlantic, so now it's time for the big show!!

Darn! I'm starting the same section hike beginning the end of the first week of June! I'd love to start when you do, but my college classes end on June 2nd.

Looking for a hiking partner. I'm driving in from Ohio to Woods Hole Hostel around the 15th of June 2012, for a 2 week hike.

I use a military poncho liner in my hammock one below and one above. In moderate temps, it keeps me really cozy. I haven't sewn mine in, but either way would be fine. ebay prices are around...

Anyone know of a shuttle from Marion, VA Greyhound station to the trail? This is my first section hike in VA, and not too familiar with the area.
