I hiked I-40 to Hot Springs 10/10-11.

The differences I see on the XA 3D Ultra 2 are:
1. Reinforcement to the 1st lace loop (I've had 2 pairs of the previous models in which the first loop broke out)
2. Slight change in tread design....

I was at Carvers Gap about 3:30 this afternoon. 8-10" with 2 foot drifts is about right. Very windy with the temperature 24 degrees.
