So my old convertible hiking pants I bought ten years ago are a size too small now, and I'm looking to buy some new ones. But the problem is that seems like everywhere I look the only ones I see are...

Don't hike during the heat of the day if you can help it (noon - 3pm), but find some shade and use as little energy as possible. Stay hydrated!
Edit: scratch that - I haven't hiked the PCT/AT yet, but this is what I currently use when I go hiking.
