I worked as a Seasonal Ranger with the NPS during the summers while in college. Most visitors to the parks who committed violations, really didn't know that they were. We always kept things cool...
Wouldn't it be easier to re-route the trail the 17 miles down to the bridge, then the 17 miles back. In the grand scheme of distance, whats another 34 miles?

When I spend the weekend fishing at the outer banks, i just sleep in the bed of the truck. Put a tarp over yourself if your worried about rain. That way you also don't have to set up and take it...
Look at the spec page. It has plenty of blades. One thing it didn't have tho. No magnifying glass to start campfires.
