They sent me a new lid after I half melted mine. I called asking to buy a replacement and they sent it for free.

I have s sublite sil and on a trip last year I had 4 days of rain. Try as I might I can not get it up or down without it becoming a bathtub. I know how to dry it out ok, so that is not the issue....

I use the bag/bucket that came with my GSI soloist. I don't do much winter hiking, but this has work well with Hawks Vittles taking 8 to 10 minuets at around 30F. I just close up the top of the bag...
