i ran into Outlet just south of PA 309. he started March 10. i saw several thrus north of port clinton as i was going sOBO, section hiking. a hiker mentioned ghost walker doing near 30 miles a day...
i parked 2 nights at 321 (rental car). i got a shuttle back to Hwy 19e. there is a big state park right there at 321, if i recall correctly.
Jeffferson National forest, VA or Mt. rogers. i get there in about 4 hours from chattanooga
the whites offer hut to hut but reservations and costs could be an issue. boiling springs & swatara gap areas in penn with shuttles is easy too..
no better way to go than living a dream....my condolences.
i used the taxi service, they worked out great. i think it was diamond taxi, dude picked up north of marion...also, shuttle service is available from a motel in area
