A lower resolution version of the Walking the West PCT Documentary DVD can be found on YouTube in 2 parts. Its a pretty good documentary of a late 90's thru-hike. I bought it years ago before a free...
...I'm going with a 15 degree bag because I sleep like the icey pile of wood next to the garage that fuels your furnace ;)
And bringing a hardcopy of Yogi's guide.
My GF and I are going with halfmile on our iphones.
We're starting April 20th now and going to hitch back to ADZPCTKO.

Your ability to express yourself is really awe inspiring. Do you have a blog or do public speaking? You should. The world needs to more people like you. Thanks for keeping it real. XO

I never finished the AT due to poor planning...I'm hoping this won't be the case with the PCT lol.
Thanks SW! That makes a lot of sense.
On the AT I started at 10-12 miles per day and slowly picked it up to 15 until I was doing 18-22 regularly after a month give or take. What's the deal with the PCT? Do you really have to bust out of...
This is great too know. I was thinking that because it was the desert that I could use my WM Highlite. The verdict across the board seems to be that it gets cold at night. I'm going to use my Marmot...
