I would not purchase a Petzl Tikka- I've had 2 fail on me, one in the field. Looking at the spec sheet it looks like these are still unregulated- a very poor design.

I'd suggest going up the Abol Slide trail, then down the Hunt. The Abol Slide trail is much more pleasant
