I'm fine sleeping on a CCF Pad....but they are a pain too pack. Way too bulky.

That's kinda what I do too....

The Zip is my favorite stove b/c I like to cook and boil lots of water. For example, I like to boil up a ton of water for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal, hot water...

I love my Sierra Zip. I used it exclusively this summer...I never had a problem finding wood or getting it lit. Its the fan that makes it fool proof....for me anyway. :)

I still use my old external pack when hiking with my wife...that's b/c when I'm with her she gets to use my nice Granite Gear internal pack.

After fiddlin with a whole mess of Alky stoves I settled on the Supercat

Works like a charm. If I want to grill something I use my wood stove.

My favorite thing about my zip stove is the fan part. I can really get a hot fire going with the fan running. Wet wood isn't a problem either with the fan on high.
