2015 hiker

I'm 24 year old male, planning on hiking the eastern continental trail in 2015, and I am planning on starting the Appalachian Trail portion in early March. Just looking to get to know some other hikers that will be on the trail around the same time.

Currently looking to leave Amicalola on the 3/22 next year. That's subject to change but it's the current plan at the moment.

Hi! Rock steady here. Also thinking of march 1. I may do the approach on 1st then go back to afsp lodge for the night (& the great breakfast!) then my wife will drive me back to Springer march 2nd. I'll be coming from Chattanooga. Keep in touch!

I also plan on starting the thru hike early March of 2015. I would like to be able to start with someone, or even complete the whole thing as a team! I am 23 yr old Male from NJ, and I have completed the NJ part of the AT. Looking to start fresh in Georgia and make my journey north!

When will you be starting in Florida? What is your planned northern terminus, and when do you hope to get there? What made you commit to this hike? How much planning have you done for the IAT section? ...lucky, seems like you are kinda walkin from home!
