    Default New alcohol stove

I have a cook kit and my snow peak 600 doesn't fit on my Vargo triad (which is a great stove and will use for other pots) so I need to get a new stove that is smaller and I can build. I will buy one if I need to though.

FYI - Zelph's Fancee Feast stove might work. The flames burn completely vertical - not outward like the standard, hole-punch fancy feast stove. I've seen it used w/ some small pots before (on videos).

    ask zelph.

I listed those because I thought they are right for a 600 ml SnowPeak.

The Starlyte or the Cobalt Blue Soloist, for sure.

I have been using an Easy Capillary Hoop Stove. It is made from a single V8 juice can (or similar). Pretty easy to make, powerful compared to other alcohol stoves. It focuses the heat on the center so it is good for narrow pots.

    Connie knows her stoves :-)
The Cobalt Blue Soloist will work perfectly. It was designed to work under the Heineken Beer/Foster's pot. It's located at

That's the one. I hear only praise for that stove and 600 ml Snow Peak.

The smallest cookware I have is 750 ml, so I don't have the Cobalt Blue Soloist.

SP600's were made for the Cobalt Blue Soloist

I had to switch over to Firefox browser in order for the video to load(reminder to self)

Make a Fancee Feest stove with a pot support that is 1/4" lower than the original dimension given in the DIY gear forum where it describes how to build one yourself. Have fun!

If you're going to go alcohol then just buy one of Zelphs. You won't find a better stove and his prices would be described by my cockney friends (If I had any) as the mutts nuts!

Included in this video is the stove I use with my 650ml TOAKS. I hope it helps a bit.

    Default GOTO Stove

And then there was the GOTO stove. Perfect for small pots and large ones. It simmers.

The video shows it being used under the SP600 pot/mug

The "Go To" stove is the Super Stove?

It looks like my Mountain Dew "hiker girls" stoves you made for me.

It's not the Venom Super Stove but it's made from the same energy drink bottle.

The GOTO is the large version of the Cobalt Blue Soloist.
