    I read either on here, or hammock forum earlier that "its a kilt if you go commando. if you wear underwear, its a skirt"... kinda made sense. But still kinda confused me.

    Until this thread the other day, I didnt even know hiking kilts exited. But they look super handy and comfortable.

    I use them in cooler weather, not in sumer.

    I take a pair of synthetic wants and spray them with Nikwax. They shed water and I do not have to pack an extra pair.
