    I may be up in the general area. I was planning on doing Woody Gap to Neels Gap and back on AT either this weekend of next weekend.

    I would have liked to have a car in each location so we could also do Lake Winfield Scott loop, but I could def swing by and pick you up for a day hike. I just haven't decided if I am going up this weekend or next weekend. It will likely be next weekend. But I will keep you posted.

    Assuming no one else is going I think I might do Springer to Long Creek Falls and back. Considerably shorter than last week's hike but I think it will still be a nice stroll.

    I will just wear my Under Armor shoes that I did PT in the Army in. One of the soles was coming off of them too but Gorilla Glue seems to have fixed that. I have a pair of New Balance Minimus that I had thought about wearing but there is almost no support in those bastards.

    I wish I had seen this earlier. I was there yesterday. I think we live pretty close to each other.

    Yep. You both live in the ams town... also, AO2134 is a few minutes from you. He and AfghanVet both hike fairly regularly. (And I'm up in Dalton)
