Yea ya beat me too it... nice find guys!

all-purpose camp knife of the indigenous Sami people who inhabit the far northern reaches of Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Russia in the Arctic. The Sami people use this style of knife in their daily mobile life.

This large knife has a fairly thin non-laminated steel blade that is effective slicing. The handle is made of birch with brass fittings. The knife comes with a traditional Scandinavian style leather sheath where the knife sits deep and secure.

Appears to be out of stock at several websites. Averages $150 and a pound and a half... not recommended for the AT - more for tooling around in the woods.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.
