Appalachia in the Rockies....
Cool Chicago flag behind the Punch Brothers video (just thought I would add that for no reason)!!!
"I told my Ma's and Pa's I was coming to them mountains and they acted as if they was gutshot. Ma, I sez's, them mountains is the marrow of the world and by God, I was right". Del Gue
Is there a particular viewer I need to download to listen to video through WB. They play but no sound
““Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees....” ― John Muir
I don't think so. Are you able to watch videos on youtube which most of these links are from? I'm on a MAC and whenever I visit sites and have issues getting a video to play i get a popup stating I need to upgrade my media player. Hope this helps.\
Whoops miss read your post. The videos are playing but no sound. Kind of weird. I'd still got youtube and see if the sound plays there.

For TiPi. Walter.
I will follow this with, I guess I am being moderated on this site, with the delay. Frustrating, to say the least...
July - How does Tipi have so many posts everyday? I mean its winter time? Shouldn't he be holed up in some ice cave with no service on his cell phone, iPad/tablet, or possibly laptop? Isn't that why he hikes in the middle of winter. No social interaction? Guess whiteblaze.com is okay. Only thousands of members here?

Colorless green ideas sleep furiously.
Thank You.
July - I can fell for Tipi. My non related aunt that has been my moms best friend for 99% of our lives and all but my first 3 months of life was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 2 years ago. She was given 4 months to live. She has made it 1.5 years longer than the doctors said she would. its gotten much worse and she's now in hospice now. She has fought the whole way. To hear her say she is dying in the last couple weeks is just devastating. It just hurts to go visit. I try not to break down in front of her. I guess tomorrow I need to visit again. I hope the pain she's going thru is controlled by the pain killers.
Music can be a healer, a release from the pain, and whatever else it does for those in celebration or in mourning!
