I use it as sleepwear, and, to keep my "fluffy" sleeping gear clean. I have seldom worn it, in daytime. I have a lightweight beanie for sleepwear. I have a warmer beanie for cold weather, I have worn over the top of it. I also have a full coverage balaclava. I have a full head coverage silk balaclava, from Winter Silks online. I think I will like it better, to keep everything nice and clean.

Watch Sierra trading post for both ice breakers and smartwool base layer items and sign up for their emails. I recently received an email with code for 45% off with free shipping. Purchased almost 500 dollars worth of icebreaker for 200 (7 tops). Some folks in my family were very happy people with their Xmas gifts.
