I plan to hike NOBO to Boiling Springs, PA (nr halfway pt) starting in very early May. I plan to do the remaining half in 2017. I have no desire to chance peaks and ridges with deep, new snow.

Flip flopping in 2016, starting from Front Royal, VA at the end of April so I can be in Harper's Ferry about May 1st. for a ATC flip flop conference (if there is one next year) and then continue north.

I am! I'm hoping to start around mid-March. Depending on the numbers leaving, I may start a bit earlier or later. I'd love to meet someone and begin my hike with another female if anyone is interested. I know it would make my mum feel better about me going.

Me! I'm brand new poster here (long time lurker). Finally in a position to still have my job after 4 months off I'm an ultra runner, so planning for a faster hike 18-20 mpd avg. Haven't settled on NOBO or SOBO.
